Download option chain CSV from NSE
Opens NSE website — select expiry date before downloading
✓ NSE opened in new tab — select your expiry, download the CSV, then click below. Your downloaded file will be at the top of your Downloads folder if sorted by date. Windows: click the Date Modified column header in the file picker to sort by most recent first. Mac: press ⌘ Cmd + 2 to switch to list view sorted by date.
⚠️ Important — follow these steps on the NSE page:
- The NSE option chain page will open in a new tab
- The page opens with the nearest expiry date selected by default — you must change it to your desired expiry
- Click the expiry date dropdown at the top of the table and select your desired expiry
- Click the CSV download icon (top right of the table)
- The file will download with your selected expiry date in the filename
- Come back here and upload the file in Step 3 below
⚠️ If you download without first changing the expiry date, you may get the wrong expiry. Always select your desired expiry before downloading.
